Welcome to VLCANO. By accessing or using our website at tryvlcano.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our platform.
1. About VLCANO
VLCANO is a print-on-demand marketplace based in San Diego, California that connects customers with independent local print partners and independent design partners. We facilitate the ordering, production, and fulfillment of custom printed goods including apparel, headwear, stickers, signs, banners, and more. VLCANO is the platform operator and intermediary — not the manufacturer or fulfillment party.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, place an order, or register as a print partner or design partner on VLCANO. By using this platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of this requirement.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@tryvlcano.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Orders and Fulfillment
VLCANO connects customers with independent local print partners who fulfill orders. Once an order is placed and payment is captured, the order is routed to a print partner based on geographic proximity, capability, and availability. VLCANO acts as the platform intermediary and is not directly responsible for production errors, delivery delays, or quality issues caused by the print partner. Such issues are addressed through the VLCANO guarantee and our refund and dispute process (see the Refund & Return Policy).
5. Pricing and Fees
All prices displayed on the platform are in US dollars. VLCANO charges a platform service fee on each transaction. This fee is disclosed at checkout prior to payment. Print partner subscription fees, if applicable, are charged on a recurring basis and are disclosed at the time of subscription enrollment.
6. Payments
All payments are processed through PayPal. By completing a purchase, you agree to PayPal's terms of service. VLCANO does not store your payment card information. You pay VLCANO up front, and VLCANO collects the payment as the limited agent of the print partner, design partner or shop owner you are buying from, so your payment to VLCANO fully pays for your order. VLCANO holds the money and releases it to them only after you approve: for a print order, when you confirm you received it, or automatically 3 days after delivery or pickup (10 days after shipping) if you have not reported a problem; for a custom design, when you approve a proof. If you report a problem, the payment stays on hold until VLCANO resolves it. Refunds owed to you are paid from the held payment. VLCANO is not a bank or a licensed escrow service, and held payments do not earn interest. Any disputes related to payment processing should be directed to PayPal in addition to contacting us at support@tryvlcano.com.
7. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, submit, or request the printing of any content that: infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party; is obscene, defamatory, threatening, or harassing; promotes illegal activity or violence; violates any applicable law or regulation; or impersonates any person or organization without consent.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of original designs you upload to the platform. By uploading a design, you grant VLCANO a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and use your design for the purpose of fulfilling your orders and operating the platform. You represent and warrant that you have the rights to any content you upload.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The VLCANO platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform or any content on it. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VLCANO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or production errors by independent print partners.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Diego County, California.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
