Caring for printed apparel

Most prints last as long as the shirt, as long as they're washed with a little care.

• Wait before the first wash. For pressed prints (DTF, vinyl), waiting about 24 hours lets the adhesive fully set.
• Turn it inside out so the print doesn't rub against other clothes.
• Wash cold or warm, not hot, on a gentle cycle.
• Skip bleach and fabric softener. Both can break down inks and adhesives.
• Tumble dry low or hang dry. High heat is the most common cause of cracking and peeling.
• Never iron directly on the print. Iron inside out, or put a cloth between the iron and the print.
